Watch Dodd Ferrelle's video for "Suckerpunch Town"
Please enjoy the official 2013 release of video for "Suckerpunch Town," the title track to Dodd Ferrelle's latest album. Here's what Dodd had to say:
"We had a blast filming this video and sneaking around downtown in the wee hours on one of my favorite streets in Athens. Director Jeff Marker's vision and story really came alive for us in those few hours as I hope it does for you in the next few minutes. I really did get beat up pretty good there at the end. I had the bruises to prove it.
Thanks to: Jeff Marker (director), Jonathan Hickman (director of photography, camera operator, editor), David Smith (camera operator), Kevin Eagleson (production assistant), Alicia Marker (producer), Myron Tucker (Pusher man), Amy Severson (Leftwing religious nut), Jeff Marshall (Right-wing religious nut), Joelle Re-Arp Dunham (Siren), Adam Poulin (Homeless Violinist), Sean Polite (Thug 1), and Eric Gregory (Thug 2).
Blake Rainey's Ambulance Alley Sessions - Out Now!
The Young Antiques are taking a break this summer, but grass doesn't grow under Blake Rainey's feet. He's putting the finishing touches on a new solo outing titled Ambulance Alley Sessions, which was predominantly cut live in the studio. Ambulance Alley contains some reworked favorites, some new stuff, and a cover of Uncle Tupelo's "Gun."
Blake will be officially launching the EP with a release show at The EARL in East Atlanta on November 17. The CD is also available in the Two Sheds store, as well as the usual retail outlets. The release should be available in all digital outlets shortly.
Dodd Ferrelle's Suckerpunch Town - Out Now!
Dodd Ferrelle's creative bent continues in fine fashion! His latest effort, Suckerpunch Town, finds Dodd parsing out some of his earlier gems, as well as some new material, in a most acoustic fashion, accompanied by fiddles, mandolins, and cellos. Comparison to Dodd's 2000 record, Carriage on the Hill, will abound. Accompanying Dodd on the record are, among others, Noel Blackmon, David Blackmon, Dave VanWyk, Coy King, and Kyle Spence.
Suckerpunch Town is now available in our Store, as well as locally at Atlanta's and Athens' finer retail outlets, and will be available digitally shortly.
